Hello, Marita. Even tho' we've never met nor have I seen you perform, I feel like I know you.I am Florence Henebry's youngest daughter.And of course I have your 1st album "The road I Took to You" since Mom's Middle Fork River song is on it. Recently my daughter and I were at The Music Shoppe. I saw you have a music book (actually I just saw the place for it, it was sold out). I thought "wow", and then when we ckd out, I saw your business card and took one. Until reading your bio, I didn't realize you had done quite so much-played for presidents and such. Which ones did you play for? So even tho' we've never met, I feel I have a connection to you and get excited when I see things about you. May God bless you and your career.

Hey Marita! Mom called to tell me you were giving lessons to Cal Hubbard-very exciting! I made to the Opry on June & saw Rhonda Vincent, Vince Gill, Little Jimmy & Alison with the Whites & some others. I nearly passed out when I went up to take pics. Much love!

Hey Marita! Just checked out your site and I love your photo collection! For those of you reading this, Marita taught me guitar back in the late seventies!!! I guess that dates both of us -- ha ha! Marita I came to your webb site looking for an old friend Art Flatt who lived in Springfield, IL and moved to Mountian View,AK. I talked to him about a year ago or a little more and he told me that McCoy and the boys sat at his kitchen table until 2 am in the morning and talked. He also said he had the time of his life when they asked him to come up on stage and play music wih them. My wife and my self were friends of his daughters and their husbands.His soninlaw and another friend of ours got my wife playing the guitar and singing. She still knows alot of the lierics of alot of songs. We miss those days when we got together on the week ends and sing songs and have coffee, pie or cake together.I am retired now for 8 years now and my wife runs and manageses a furnature store in the town of Cuba, MO right off hwy. I-44 at the 208 mile marker. every time we would go and buy guitar strings at J&J Music in Canton, IL they asked her to let them know in advance of comming over to their store so they could have their band there so they could record her in their studio. How ever we never did. We still had good times getting together and playing music. Thank You Tom Hodges husband of Norma Hodges
